A typical Explore session lasts an hour in its entirety. This includes an introduction to the session with brainstorming led by a trained Facilitator, a half hour dialogue between the couple and the students and a time of reflection and evaluation with the students after they have met the couple. This format can be extended to include a second couple for the students to question if the time slot is extended to 1.5 to 2 hours.

These are one-off events that usually last between 3 to 4 hours. They can involve a whole year group meeting with several couples in small groups e.g. teaching or tutor groups. This format fits well with ‘drop down’ days like Citizenship, PSHE and RSE days. The sessions work in exactly the same way as the workshops but can be organised on a carousel basis so that the classes get to see more than one couple.
